About the Event

Join Get Loud Ohio, Moms Against DeWine, and Ohio Advocates for Medical Freedom at the Ohio Statehouse for a peaceful protest in support of Ohio House Bill 248, the Vaccine Choice & Anti-Discrimination Act.

It's now or never! We are joining forces to ensure our legislature knows where we stand on the issue of medical mandates for healthcare workers AND everyone else in the State of Ohio! Come and support us! Wear your medical freedom gear, signs, banners, and flags!

Ohio House Bill 248 would ensure that ALL people in the State of Ohio maintain informed vaccine choice free from coercion. This bill was introduced in April by Rep. Jennifer Gross with fifteen co-sponsors, received five hearings before summer break with nearly a thousand written testimonies of support, and is scheduled for a sixth hearing on the day of this event.

We need your help to ensure that Ohioans maintain vaccine choice and healthcare privacy.

Check back here for further updates as the date approaches.

Things to know for August 24th:

Directions to the Capitol - Directions can be found on Google, MapQuest, etc by entering the address: 1 Capitol Square, Columbus, OH 43215

Parking - If you need help finding a place to park, visit this website: https://downtowncolumbus.com/get-around/parking-info/

Health Committee Hearing Attendance - If you plan to try to attend the hearing in the Capitol, please be advised that seating is always very limited, always prioritizing people who are testifying, and otherwise a typically first-come-first-served basis. When large attendance numbers are expected, sometimes they'll offer an overflow room, but seating in that space is very limited also.

Capitol Security - Please be respectful, they have a job to do, which includes keep us safe, and there's certainly many of them who agree with our perspective. For specific information about entry into the Statehouse, security checkpoints, and so on, please visit this website: http://www.ohiostatehouse.org/about/general-information/security-faq

Wear Red - We want to visibly show our support of HB248. The brightly colored red clothes get people's attention and easily identify us as being present in support of the bill.
